Today I was heading back to starting point of the tour, Santa Cruz de La Palma.
As in life, my yesterday's paradise enjoyment had to be repaid.
Starting from my camping spot at the sea level, I had to climb 800m to get to the main road. Climb wouldn't be so bad that wind wasn't blowing 40km/h with gusts of 80km/h. It would stop me for a moment or throw me in the middle of the road. I had to ride in the middle just to avoid being pushed down the cliff.
Luckily traffic was very low and people realized my struggle and waited patiently.
Fight with the wind continued all the way to the end. Looks like that some storm is coming as this wasn't usual weather in the past week.
Everything ended well, just took longer then expected. I think that today I earned pint of cool beer, maybe two 🍻😉
