It's raining out. Good day for a Zwift ride. They just released the Scotland map. I chose the route with the most miles. Around 14.6 miles with about 900 feet of climbing. The route is rolling terrain. The climbs last no more then 3 minutes. There's lots of twists and turns. It's similar to the Maruki Island in that respect. It's good for interval-like workouts. I ended up riding about 20 miles. I finished the first lap in about 50 minutes, so I decided to go for another 10 before shutting down. I felt better on the last half of the ride. The scenery is neat, not great. Concentration was good. I was mostly captivated for riding the map for the first time. Nutrition was good. I went through most of my Gatorade and some water. Ailments, next to none. Gear worked flawless. I think there were intermittent outages on the HR sensor. I rode with the Garmin GPS turned on. Interesting that the GPS shows the wattage much less than that of the trainer. Perhaps some calibration needed. Balance and form was good. Other notes, there were over 2000 riders when I hopped on! I asked the question out of a scale from 1 to 10, how accurate is the map to the real world. Two responses were in the negative numbers! Apparently, not even close.
