The weather has warmed up. Event though the wind was going the wrong way, I had to get out. I went to Keene. I had a tailwind on the way to the top of the descent. I made it there in under 8 minutes. So, I was flying. The downhill proved to be enjoyable. The wind did a 180 about a mile or two into the descent. I put in two digs over the risers. I made it to the base of the climb in about 24 minutes. So, I was doing good time. I was going to remove my jacket, but I forgot to bring the velcro strap that would allow me to roll it up. I ended up zipping it down along with my jersey. I removed my full finger gloves, too. The ascent went fast! With the aid of the tailwind, I was doing good tempo most of the way up. The landmarks went quick. I made it to the summit in about 1:04 hours. Super quick. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recoup and headed back home. I shut it down after reaching the top of Weston. Concentration was good. Minimal lapses, no gremlins. Gear worked flawless. The HR sensor works better when I turn the face to the palm-side of my hand. Ailments were minimal. Some soreness in the hands. Maybe a hint of soreness in the right knee. Nothing too detracting. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through most of my Gatorade and a sip or two of water. Other notes, I saw two casual cyclists on their way up Keene when I was descending. I wasn't able to bridge after the climb started.
