Haven't done this route since a warm spell in February and yessir what a difference three months makes. Trees, jungle, all grown in. Trail in good shape; a few muddy spots and some muddy water crossings. Another nice evening with temps starting in the 80s and slowly subsiding to the 70s. Legs were ... mostly cooperative, influenced no doubt by the first half of the mower-bike biathlon in the back yard before the ride. (Needed to get it cut before rain and being gone...) Not summer legs yet AND it was the first week in some time with three rides in five days. Cardio was pretty good; the pollen is mostly gone and breathing is pretty good. Climb between 9.5 and 10 still a nemesis -- the suffering will continue until July, most likely, and the body is in better condition. Ready as we're gonna get for OGFest (riding at Allegrippis) the end of next week...
