Great Wed Happy ride. About 20 folks started as we went to WTP library. Nice 18 mph pace getting to the hill, and then Dave H took over and upped it to 20-22 going up to library. I finally in last few yards went over him and proceeded to guard shack! My goal is to keep that pace all the way to guard shack. I failed on that goal today. The pitch changes from 1.5% to 2.3% for that last section to guard shack and I need to work harder there! Then after descent from WTP, about half went home and our half continued in loop north! Since all but 2 riders in our new group were all strong riders, the pace picked up with a few sprint stages. Notably southbound on Autoshow! I was the lead-out for Wray and the others who passed me when I had to let off the gas after 0.7 miles! Fun times as we pulled up to stop light and Wray thanked me for the leadout! I guess I am learning that my max output last 0.5 - 0.7 miles ( although this was a bit downhill).
