I had origionally intended to go from here to the Vartry reservoir but the hill at the end here was a killer . So i just had to reverse back and head towards Greystones . I was very tired . Just at the end of this section I came to the large buiding , which i was wondering what it was for . So I called to the house beside it and was told that it was built at the start of the 1800s and that it was a stable . But i thought that it was quite fancy for stables . Then against that , remember that stables were sometimes more important that the humans. At this stage i was exausted as this is a very hilly road and I decided to return to Greystones . Exausted . Good cycle but this 100KM is in 2 weeks time so i had better get the finger out . I also was drinking heavy last night , I had a whiskey and i also had some wine , so maybe i can use those two as excuses for not doing the whole cycle to Roundwood , as i intended.
