Next Sunday week , the 11th , is D-Day for the Wicklow100 , so I wanted to see was I capable of doing a 100KM at least . So 95.8KM was near enough for me . A lovely cycle but i still had to get off and cheat at those two points , just before i reach the car-park just before Kilakee and then just before those two lakes a few miles before the Sally Gap. Once I got that far most of the rest was really downhill , in theory . I always thing , once you can get as far as the Sally Gap you can go anywhere. Weather was great but still a small bit cold and glad i took the inner with me and i had the sence to put on more suncream on my way home beside the Sugar Loaf . Once I got up that hill before you come into enniskerry , i was really home as it was all downhill .
