The ride home was not easy and the headwind didn't help! My legs were shot, I did my best to keep them spinning, after 8 miles my lower back, started to hurt and all I wanted to do was stop... Knowing this wouldn't help nor get me home the next 12 miles, I kept pedaling and when it got too bad I'd stop pedaling and stand for a second or 2 sit back down and start pedaling again. It was a long torturous 12 miles but pedal by pedal I made it back and made the ride successful. I took a different route back which was much better and safer. The drivers for the most part were not as aggressive even with the increase in traffic. Onwards to the next great adventure... Be safe out there and enjoy your ride!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
