Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I’m now prepared and ready for the Caliente ride on this weekend, Sunday. I brought the bike in to Action Sports to have the rear disc brakes adjusted. I performed what is called a brake burnishing. The theory is that with new disc brakes, you need to wear in the brake pad compound into the disc rotor. Thus making for an ideal braking surface. I did exactly as was described from Action Sports. The procedure is to get up to about 10 MPH and then press the brakes firmly, but not locking up the wheels till you reach about 2 MPH. Perform this procedure 20 times. Country Club Road was the perfect place to do it as it has a slight gradient. I did exactly as was instucted. After that, I went to OTR and to the summit. I headed back from there. The brakes felt good on the downhill. The body feels sufficiently recovered. I will put in a stretching routine on Saturday in preparation for Sunday's Caliente ride. The bike feels good, I have high hopes for its reliability.
