I was as ready as I could be without any sleep, my fault. The course was a down and back hilly course. It was steeper than I thought it was going to be and I had a tough time on the out going part of the race. One of the long steep hills kicked my butt and I lost site of my main competitor. Up until this point I was closing the gap... I saw him at the turn around but he had opened a big gap. I had my work cut out for me and he wasn't having any of it. I went after him as hard as I could. I hit my highest down hill speeds in over a decade and the hill wasn't that steep. I was passing other racers all along hoping it would be him with no luck. The was coming down one by one time was running out, I had 2 miles to go I see another racer thinking it was him... I went even harder to catch him with 1/4 miles to go I realize it wasn't him. I did close the distance down but not enough. This race was a great adventure and I left no fuel in the tank taking 2nd place in the 70+.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
