Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It’s getting hot. They predicted 100 degree weather today. I decided to get out as early as I could. I managed to get out before 8AM. The weather was bearable. The legs felt pretty good to start. I didn't bother checking the time at the summit of OTR. Probably good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, otherwise was the usual grind-fest. The Alpine Forest was mostly steady tempo. I increased the intensity as I was counting off the speed bumps. I was at maximum over the top. I took a few moments to recoup and then headed around the backside of the Alpine Forest. I zipped the downhills, reaching 40 MPH. Then headed up to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments to recover. Checked the GoPro battery, let traffic by, then headed back down the mountain. There was some traffic descending off the Banducci Wall, so I was a bit nervous and extra careful at the same time. As I was descending, I was contemplating adding the summit of Highline to my ride. I decided to go for it. The weather was holding up. After making it to the summit of Highline, I did the Buffalo Run route. I made my way back to OTR from there. Mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa then shut it down after reaching the summit of Weston. Concentration was good. Patience was a bit better. The first few miles were the worst. Gear worked flawless, although the handlebar seems to dip if I hit a big bump in the road. I can hear a "Clack" noise. The handlebar rotates downward ever so slightly. So, I'll have to torque the bolts a bit tighter and see if that helps. Ailments, some hand numbness as usual when out of the saddle. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I'm learning that if I eat just before the ride, then drink water more than Gatorade. I went through most of my water and had a few sips of Gatorade. Other notes, I saw 3 cyclists today.
