Finally got the race early enough to get a good warmup in! Went to ride the TT course missed a turn but noticed the riders behind me turned, so I turned around and got back on course. Things were going well until they weren't... I saw a crew on the road that I thought was blocking traffic for the racers. I later, much later learned I was supposed to turned there. I got lost big time! I had no clue to where I was, I was riding blind. I was now nervous and knew i may miss my start time. I saw one of the racers going the opposite direction so I thought I must be close unless the racers was loss too. I ended up going in circles, finally saw someone and asked for help. They were able to give me some directions. I saw some riders and asked for help and they got me back on course and I saw where I missed my turn. I saw other racers on the course and I raced past them to get back to the start. I was too late! What a great adventure but not the one I was looking for. I ended up riding nearly 24 miles. I feel as if I did the race, I really wanted to see how my training was doing too! Back to the drawing board and to the next grand adventure! I'm going to sleep now... Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
