Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has warmed up a bit. The wind was slightly turbulent, mostly from the South East. I overdressed for the occasion. I wore knees, arms and a skull cap. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. When I made it to the summit, I stopped to remove my knee warmers and skull cap. Shortly after, I got back on the road and headed back to the summit of WTR. When i got there, I ditched my excess layers into the bushes and put on my arm coolers for the remainder of the ride. From there, I made my way down the descent. I put in two modest digs over the risers. I didn't bother checking the time when I reached the base and headed back with out delay. The return trip went as usual. I had a slight tail wind on the first half of the ride, after which the wind did a 180 on me. I stopped at the top of the Loop Monument to adjust the rear wheel. The bike was exhibiting clicking noises. Reseating the rear wheel did the trick. From there, it was non-stop to the summit. I was doing no less than moderate tempo. All the while, reminding myself how the Spooktacular ride is going to feel. After reaching the summit, I grabbed my stash from the bushes, took a few moments to recover, and headed back home. I shut it down after reaching the top of Weston. Concentration was good. The morale felt pretty good. Patients was about average. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some hand numbness and right knee soreness. The knee soreness didn't detract much, but I had to adjust my cadence and pedaling style. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I went through most of my sport drink. No water. Gear worked flawless. I tried the Garmin GPS navigation on this ride. The directions were mostly correct, but confusing in some places. It picked up on small streets, telling me to keep left or right. But, mostly correct. The battery consumption was a bit more. I doubt it would last the entire Spooktacular ride, so will not likely use it. I'm learning that the backlight drains the battery quite a bit, so I will have it at a low setting on the Spooktacular ride. Other notes, I saw a runner near OTR and a cyclist descending Keene as I was on my way back.
