D'Emonda. Cloudy and gray, cold - hovered around 32-34 degrees, not as much wind chill as yesterday but still in the mid-20's, WNW winds around 8 mph. Stuck to the Fox River Trail and some familiar neighborhoods. Started at the house and rode down to Aurora. Good pace for a trail ride, I was averaging 15 mph up until leaving the river valley in Geneva and going through town. Dressed perfect for the conditions and even worked up a little sweat: Light LS merino base layer, poly SS tee, Rapha jacket with pit zips open, Assos bib tights with a jock, 2 layers of wool socks and 2 toe warmers on each foot, Bontrager JFW boots, 2 layers of merino base gloves, Toko lobster claw outers, light gater, poly ear band.
