Atwood Park MTB Ride 4-10-24

Trek Fuel EX 9.8. Mostly sunny, warm - high 60's, mild winds not a factor in the woods. A gorgeous Spring day. Only a few other riders out and a handful of hikers. Trails were in great shape except two flooded section on the lower Marsh trails.

Rode just over 2 hours, plenty of climbing. Legs felt great and I'm happy with my average speed this early in the season. Did 4 trips around the Founders Loop, 3 trips on the Big Wheel, out and backs on the Marsh and Prairie trails and one complete inner and outer loop on the North trails. Good workout, light lunch at the Hairy Cow then home to do yard work before the rain moves in.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
