Twelve loiterers followed me out of Uxbridge across Rockingham Recreation Ground, up Chandlers Hill, and on to Black Park for elevenses and were met by Dave M. While relaxing we were joined by the members of the medium ride led by John W.
Sandra and Paul left us as we cycled round the lake and through Wexham Street, and Stoke Poges en route to Farnham Common and Burnham Beeches. WE folioed The Lord Mayors Drive through the beeches to Hawthorn Lane the by Thompson’s Lane, East Burnham Lane, and Crown Lane to Farnham Royal and lunch at The Dukes Head.
After lunch Terry headed straight home while we pedalled past the church and down to Northern Road and through Stoke Green and Wexham to George Green and the entrance to Langley Park. We traversed the park and rode up Billet Lane for tea at the San Remo Cafe after which the group dispersed wit some of us returning via Iver and Cowley.
