Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather was warmer today. On the positive side, the wind was a bit cooler. I knew it was going to be a tough day. I ended up doing a park and ride. It was either that or leaving provisions in the mail locker. Last night I was debating if I should go to Keene first or last. Given the hot weather conditions, I decided to do Keene first. It went well. My legs responded to my liking. My concentration was there as well. I held back enough to save my cookies for later. I did no less than moderate tempo for the duration of the climb. Counting off the land marks. When I reached the summit, I took a few moments rest. At this point the Gopro stopped recording. I had the Brunton battery pack connected, but I think it wasn't charged. So, I only got 1 hour of video coverage. After the brief rest, I headed to the car. I swapped out bottles and headed to OTR. I felt good, not great. The heat was bearing down just a bit. In my mind, I was concentrating on having to do Banducci + Alpine forest. I knew I had to save some matches, and that's what I did. The Banducci wall took me to mearly maximum. Good thing there was the flat section before the Alpine Forest. Once there, I put it into my easiest gear and slowly picked up the pace. The landmarks I was concentrating on were the 4 speed bumps. Once I reached the first, I had the next in my line of sight. Then I made my way onto Lemans, a slight reprieve. Alps hurt just as it always. It was at this point that my left leg started to cramp just a bit. I wasn't sure of the severity of it. I knew I could complete the ride, so I kept an eye on it. At the top of Banducci, I took a few moments rest. Hydrating and stretching. I then headed downhill. Practicing my tuck twice. When I reached Pelisser, my leg was still cramping. I put as much attention to it as I could. I kept it to a minimum. It lingered for the remainder of the ride, but I didn't have to stop. I was careful on the CVR climb. I made it without exasperating the ailment. After that, it was recovery and the mostly downhill trip back to the car. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness, callas, left calf cramping (mitigated by icing when I got back to the car). Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. The Gopro stopped, to the fault of my own. I'll reset the configuration for next time. Concentration felt good. I kept it together when my leg began to cramp. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
