Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I think it was a bit on the cooler side today. Winds from the North West. I decided to do a single today, and an extended ride the next time out. My legs felt good from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the end of OTR. The goal of the day was to practice a pedaling technique that seems to work better for me. That is, to put more force into the bottom and up stroke. I can put in about 5 to 10 more RPM by doing this. and my legs feel fresher. I was doing intervals of about 30 seconds on and off. Not exactly that structured though. It felt good. Both out and back felt good using this technique. I'm going to put it into practice on the remainder of my rides leading up to the GranFondo. Suffice it to say, I felt strong on today's ride. I had fun, given it's lesser duration. Concentration was spot on. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness. A hint of soreness on the outer tendon on my left leg. I gave it some time to recover and that did the trick, but I had to hold back just a bit from that point on (somewhere nearing OTR on the return). Balance and form felt much better, given the pedaling technique implemented on this ride. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, no other cyclists. Just one runner.
