Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I got out at noon today. The weather was a bit warm, but the winds were favorable. My legs felt a bit heavy to start. I rode with Roger to Route 202. He turned around and I kept going. By that time, I felt warmed up. I did good tempo up the wall and to the summit of Banducci. I think I was delayed no more than 3 or 4 minutes by riding easy tempo with Roger. When I was on the descent, there were some cars behind, so I gassed it a bit till I hit the base. The rest of the ride was steady tempo, no heroics. I did a bit of a dig over the top of SS. From there I continued with moderate tempo. All the while keeping an eye on my right calf. I stretched periodically, and it turned out that my leg had no ailments. My right hand was numb at a few times. I found that making a fist helped a lot. My gear worked good today, no problems there. My concentration was real good, as was my balance. Other notes... When I went under the SS tunnel, I caught a glimpse of a cat and her kitten, just wandering on the other side of the road. I wish I had turned around and put them somewhere more safe. Question is, where would I put them? Maybe they were trying to get to the other side of the street. I saw a Red tail hawk and 2 turkey vultures. Cows were out in numbers too.
