I got out a little late today. To make matters worse, it was pretty hot and the winds were from the south. In such, I flew to the top of WFT. Got there in under 8 minutes. The way down was a bit of a surprise. The wind changed direction. So, I had a headwind on the way out and a tailwind on the way back. I did modest tempo on the descent. The ascent was modest for the first mile. I had to reseat the front and rear skewers because they were making some noise. That took care of that problem. The remainder of the ride was good tempo, with one kicker over the loop monument, and high tempo over the summit. I had only one ailment, my right hand. Again going numb. Everything else was in check, just had to deal with the heat. The bike is working well, although I did hear some odd sounds from the chain as I made my final leg down WFT. Not sure what to make of it, but It wasn't the first time I heard it. Otherwise, all other gear is working great. Concentration was almost dead on. Balance was more of a concern. I was constantly adjusting my position in and out of the saddle. Other notes, I changed my camera mode to high quality (there's a name for it, but I forgot what it was called).
