Another sunny day with an invigorating autumnal nip in the air saw Jackie, Lawrie, Jim H, Jim S, and myself head out of Uxbridge, up Chandler's Hill to elevenses at Black Park.
We continued on to Burnham Beeches via Hollybush Hill, Rickman's Lane, and the track along the edge of Brockhurst Wood. 'The Beeches' where traversed on Lord Mayor's Drive. We continued on along Pumpkin Hill and Dorney Wood Road to reach our lunch stop at a nearly deserted Jolly Woodman at Littleworth Common.
After lunch we cycled along Boveney Wood Road and Park Lane to gain entry to 'The Beeches' which were this time traversed on Halse, McAuliffe, and Dukes Drives exiting on Egypt Lane.. A shortcut along a path saw us join and cross the Beaconsfield Road and head towards the One Pin crossroads. Turning right cycled to and across Stoke Common, through Fulmer and Tatling End en route to Denham and tea and cake at Denham Church. Here we met Dave and Caz and were later joined by Melissa.
After tea, cake, and a natter we dispersed and made our way home.
