Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

(I started the timer on the GPS about 2 minutes into the ride). I planned on going out on a road trip after the ride, so I had incentive. The weather continues to be comfortably cool. Favorable winds. My legs felt good from the start. The miles went quick. I was counting off the landmarks as I was making my way through the route. My legs felt good. No ailments, so I was able to push it. I was doing mostly moderate to high tempo. I put in a good effort on the last climb. I must have gone anaerobic a hand full of times on the climbs. Concentration was good for the most part. Balance and form felt good. I've yet to adjust the cleat position, as per calf soreness mitigation. No signs of it on this ride. Ailments consisted of right hand numbness (I think). Gear is working great. Other notes, no other cyclists. (I'm entering this log the day after the ride, as I did not have sufficient time yesterday).
