Tried to keep the cadence around 75-85 (except for the downhill sections!). It went pretty well. It's possible I need to work on my ride nutrition strategy (I drank a 2 litre bladder of Energade but ran out with about 20 km to go and I ate one racefood farbar), but I came on strong at the finish, doing 37-39 km/hr on the tarmac before the final downhill section on gravel. There was a guy stuck on my tail for about 20 km's of this - eventually I told him he could take over any time.... turns out he wasn't that strong, we dropped to <30 km/hr when he was in the front, so after 200 meters I took the lead back and pushed the pace back up and kept it there. He said "wow, you're strong, man" and apologized for not giving me much of a draft. He kept up with me leading the rest of the way and we finished together - nice guy as it turns out, so I didn't mind.
Avg Watts/Kg were pretty good according to Strava - check out the link to their analysis: https://www.strava.com/activities/816396044/est-power-curve

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
