Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was a welcome change in the weather. Cool and modest winds. I wore 2 layers, arms and knees. The winds were from the north, so I cruised it to the top of the descent. I approached the descent just as I had planed, very modest and soft pedaling for the majority of it. The return ascent was basically the same, but with moderate tempo. I didn't have any ailments other than some soreness in my right leg, that went away in a few moments. My concentration was fairly good, better on the ascent than the descent. Balance was fair. The downhill was a bit chilly, but I had just enough gear to keep me comfortable. As expected, the climb was warmer. I decided to keep my gear on, and it turned out to be a good choice. Gear is working well, after oiling the chain, I could tell that it was a lot smoother than the previous ride. Other notes, I didn't see any anomalous readings on my GPS in regards to HR.
