I went out to do a recovery ride on my training bike. After being on my Race bike for past 5 days I was in for a unpleasant surprise. I knew the race bike was lighter, and much easier to ride and get up to speed but I didn't realize by how much. My easy recovery ride was much harder than i was expecting. Riding at the same effort the speed difference was amazing. There seems t be a good 3 mph difference. I need to change out the rear tire because it is ready to blow. I have been the bike on the trainer and rollers so I was not too concern but going out on the road is another thing. I forgot to bring my spare tire with me come to think about it. I did look at it as I pulled the bike out but I never even gave it a thought to bring with me as I normally have done for the past month or so. Well the ride was nice legs feel much better they were really tight. Another recovery ride should be good for the legs. I also think I need to raise the nose of the saddle just a tad. I have too much weight on the my arms causing a lot of pain in the forearms and may be why my lower back is also hurting so much.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
