We go to this trail ... "system" ... maybe once a year because of the distance for my fellow OGs plus it's barely 6 miles total. But went we did on Labor Day and did TWO laps. Considered doing it first in one direction and then the other but when we thought about the descents in the clockwise direction as climbs, decided, nah, a second lap was the right call. The descents had multiple rock ledges that would have been quiet challenging for a bunch of OGs to climb. We did manage to do both legs of the secondary loop at 1.9 (and 6.9), so there's that. All in all it was still a pretty good workout -- we were tired at the end (though not destroyed). Trail was in good shape, if a bit overgrown in a coupla places -- it clearly doesn't get the amount traffic as the trails farther south in the county. w/Mark, Dan
