Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today was "one of those days"...
The weather was cloudy, but rideable. Temperature in the 60's. Winds from the North West. I got out. Headed to OTR. As soon as I turned the corner, around Country Club, my stomach started to complain. Right after I took a few drinks of Cytomax. I thought, maybe it will go away and just dilute it with water. So, I made my way through OTR and it was still hurting. I headed up Highline, made it to the summit. The stomach was still hurting. So, I decided to scratch the ride and head back home. I was sore most of the way back. As I was returning, it started to sprinkle ever so slightly. So, I thought to myself that, had I gone to WS, I probably would have been caught out in the rain. Right now, as I type this, my stomach feels much bretter. I'm having a bowl of cereal. I'll see if I can reset for a Sunday ride.
