Start from the Oregon Trail Interp Center in Oregon City. The usual start location for this ride is the Baker Cabin. The first segment goes to Eagle Fern Park (mile 20.1). Ride Clackamas River Drive to Springwater Rd, then take Baker's Ferry Rd into Barton. Go right onto Highway 224, past the Highway 211 junction, to Wildcat Mtn. Rd. Ride this for about 1.5 miles to Eagle Fern Rd and to the park. The second segment has most of the climbing. First climb is Snuffin Rd, a 300-foot elevation gain at generally 5-7%. Several long rollers on Currin Rd, then a short, steep hill on Coupland Rd just past Tumalo Mtn. Rd. A little more climbing on Divers Rd to the 4-way stop at Tumalo Mtn Rd (mile 27.8). From here it's a long downhill back to Coupland Rd and another downhill on Coupland Rd into Estacada (mile 32.7). The next segment covers Eagle Creek Rd to Heiple Rd, then the Dowty Rd loop back to Highway 224. Finally, it's back on the lollipop stem riding Baker's Ferry and Clackamas River Drive back to the interp center. Gusty N-NE wind today.
