Weather Weenies Were Wrong

Forecast was for rain in the afternoon (all day, really). Turns out, nope! With DST starting at 5:30 isn't a problem; still plenty of daylight to get an hour or so of pedaling in.

Close-in all-burbs loop to test new wheels and the new tubeless set up. Been struggling a bit getting the tape job right and am probably destined to do it yet again, but nevertheless, tire pressures were stable enough to get a decent ride in.

Legs were glad to be out again after Saturday's long-ish MTB ride; everything else worked as required.

Temps in the 50s and had to return after maybe a minute to get a vest; turned out to be the right call.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
