What a wonderful temp day to ride, ableit very windy from S-SW. Departure time was 6:25 am ( again RWGPS is off). Saw some of the WVC riders so rode with them for a bit. They went a slightly different route so I missed the underpasses around mile 10 and had to double back to get the control at mile 15.3 The new part that I had not actually ridden before from mile 26.2 - 27.6 was very nice. The part along Main Street was very shady! Round around the Sunday Farmer's Market there at mile 26.2. Then followed the route up to Waddell Haciendas and found the peafowl at mile 49.3 @ 183 Ave/ Hearn Rd. There were 2 of them and some other chickens and more. Right next to that place was a pen of horses and donkey/mules. For the route home, due to the wind from S-SW I took some other roads than the regular route. All-in-all this is a nice route.
