Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted thunder storms today. When I got up from my nap, it was partly cloudy. So, I hopped to my feet and got suited up. I wore arms, knees, and a thick base layer. The legs were heavy to start. I made it to the top of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall climb had some traffic mitigation, so I was checking my six every few moments. After reaching the Alpine Forest, I was able to relax a bit and settle into climbing mode. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts while listening to the GPS announcements. The wattage seemed a bit off to me. I was near max going over the top. From there, I zipped around the back side, had fun on the descent and made my way to the Banducci Summit. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to relax. I let traffic by and then headed back down the mountain. There was some traffic mitigation, but it was safe. The descent off the Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, so I let the cars go by before coasting to the bottom. From there, I headed up Highline. I had a tailwind at this point. I zipped around the Buffalo neighborhood, hopped back on Highline and then made my way to OTR. The descent off OTR was enjoyable. I stopped once to take photos of the local horses. From there, I made my way back home. I pushed over Mariposa. At this point, I noticed that the clouds were getting darker. So, I made haste and got back home ASAP. I shut it down at the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had some things to think about. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. The usual hand soreness while digging out of the saddle. The legs cooperated as did the knees. I noticed that my right quad was complaining a bit when I headed up the quick ascent just off Highline. I decided to weave my way to the top, just to keep things in check. Nutrition was good. I fed a banana and grapes before the ride. I drank most of my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly.
Other notes, no cyclists today. There was a bunch of construction work on Highline. They shut down the bike lane, so I had to merge with traffic (safely).
