Old Haul - Yes! 🥳 Camp Pomponio - No. 😭

I've been wanting to ride Old Haul again for ages and talking to Kathryn Quinn 🐈 about it was the final catalyst I needed.

I've been curious, now that the broken bridge on Baker Fire Rd., crossing Pescadero Creek has been removed, was it still possible to connect Camp Pomponio Rd and Old Haul. The answer - it doesn't look like you can, not legally and not without a water crossing and some bushwhacking. That's sad.

Old Haul is a gorgeous as ever and it makes me so happy to ride it. It's too bad I couldn't do the bigger ride I had hoped. My consolation was a yummy burger at Loma Mar Outpost. They've changed their menu (since I last went there).

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
