Leaving the hotel we crossed the A14 and followed the cycle route to St Neots Rd and on to elevenses at Coton Garden Centre.
After elevenses we continued west on St Neots Rd and after the leader got confused on the route we turned off on to Long Rd and travelled through Comberton and on to Harlton passing the Radio Telescope Observatory site.
At Haslingfield we turned north to Barton. A bridleway led us over the M11 and into Grantchester and lunch at the Green Man PH.
Leaving the pub we headed across Grantchester Meadows and through Cambridge and onto Midsummer Common to join the river path to cross at Green Dragon Bridge and our afternoon stop at the Green Dragon PH.
Continuing we followed river downstream to Baits Bite Lock and Fen Rd to Milton. From Milton we crossed the A10 on the footbridge then through Impington to the hotel.
