Eureka Montana community campsite to Sparwood Mountain view campsite British Columbia Columbia Eureka is a very pretty and clean town with a Riverside community camp spot and a amazingly comprehensive historical town reconstruction. The ride in Canada was uneventful. No issues with border crossings and only a bar wire or fence separating the countries. The mountains begin to appear almost immediately And get bigger the further north you go Fernie is a very mountain bike town with a ski slope on the outskirts. It reminds me very much of Bend. Part of today’s ride was on the bike trail that runs the entire length of Canada. It would be an interesting route from Vancouver to this area. Sparwood is a big coal mining town with the world’s largest truck on display. I camped with three southbound bikers from Virginia who started in Jasper and gave me all of the information I’ve been missing previously. Very grateful for their help.
