Hot and muggy day, but after feeling tired earlier in the day, I decided to join this group, that I rode with last week. The regular leader wasn't there, but some good riders were. I forgot to put on my chamois cream, but my butt didn't hurt too much throughout the ride, until the end going on Flagg Hill Road, I finally started to bonk a little. I think my calves were starting to cramp up a little, but it worked out. My hamstring only hurt a little, so did my psoas, and back. Overall I was surprised I could hang with the five or six guys who put together a nice pace line at 17 to 18 mph, on flat roads. But, I definitely couldn't hang with them on Taylor Road going up hill, and on the Depot Road hill. I peeled off on Flagg Hill road. But, I rode with the group for 17.6 miles at a 17.7 mph clip! Very good ride!
