A little muggy day and hot but not too hot. Big group of Hubsters today including Jan who talked with me about the Tour de France and is predicting that Matteo Jorgensen will win. About 15 miles in my back spasmed as I tried to accelerate out of the saddle on Route 27, eventually it calmed down, and I was able to lead a front group of four of us in an informal pace line in the flatter areas. I did ok on the hills too, so I am among the better riders in the group right now. My butt hurt at the break, and my left hamstring was giving me problems, I tweaked it a few times yesterday playing tennis going for overheads. Pealed off onto Hillside on the way back to avoid the scarified Lawsbrook road. My saddle was giving me some soreness the last ten miles or so. But, I think this was the longest ride of the year for me.
