Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up just at the right time. Not too early, not too soon. It was in the low 70's. Winds from the North West. The air was on the cooler side, perhaps a bit humid. I wore the standard summer kit. The legs needed some warming up. I've since adjusted the saddle position. I tilted the nose up so that it is level with the ground. And, I moved the saddle forward just a bit. I also adjusted the cleats. I gave it a narrower stance. The position felt better from the get-go. My right hip felt much better today. It was hardly complaining.
I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation, but not much. There were more cars approaching then from behind. I was near max going over the top, but I had matches to burn. I recovered a bit on the flats and then the next climbing segment. I kept the tempo steady and moderate doing in and out of the saddle efforts. All the while, paying attention to traffic from behind. After reaching the summit, I took a few moments to recover. I let traffic by and then headed down the mountain. It was safe, with no traffic from behind and minimal from ahead. The trek to the SS was pretty quick. I kept the tempo steady and I was able listen to the music since I was in a bike lane, I turned up the volume. After reaching the front entrance to SS, I took a few moments to stretch on the bike and then made my way around the backside. After reaching the back entrance, I took a few moments to recover and then commenced the downhill into town. My hip was cooperating, so I put in a good sprint. I reached 40 MPH on the downhill. I stopped at the local park to bio and then got back on the road. I made it to the tunnel in about 1:06 hours. About what I expected. I stopped at the local mini mart to mix a powder drink with the spare water bottle I had in the saddle bag. I spared no time and got back on the road. The trip through the farmlands was mostly comfortable. I had to negotiate the potholes, rough pavement and watch out for traffic. It kept me occupied. I reached Boss Hogs in about 1:30 hours. So, I gave up just 4 minutes on the return. The last climb went quick. I was doing no less than moderate tempo. After cresting the summit, I pulled over to feed. I fed a Clif Bar with water. I took this moment to swap out the GoPro battery. After feeding, I got back on the road. Route 202 had minimal traffic mitigation, but I had to merge with traffic to make the right turn onto OTR. The descent off OTR was fun. There was a car from behind, so I was pushing it a bit as to lessen the nuisance for the driver from behind. I pushed over Mariposa and made my way back to Weston. I pushed to the top and then shut it down.
Concentration was good. The morale was good. Especially since my right hip felt good. I had a few things to think about so I was in the zone and focused most of the time. There were no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form was much better today. I like the new saddle position and the narrower stance on the pedals. I am definitely on to something. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana and some grapes before departing. Gear held up great. There's still a mystery click, but I think it is less pronounced. Other notes, I saw two cyclists today.
