Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. It's raining and miserable outdoors (for a bike ride). Of course, I decided to train indoors. I didn't feel like doing the default NY map, so I opted for the Watopia map. I did the Jungle / Volcano loop for the first time. It only had about 900 feet of climbing. But, I wanted to do some exploring. The map starts by riding along the coast. It navigates to the back end of the mountain route and then circles out to the Jungle area. The were lots of twists and turns. There was never a steady climb. Mostly undulating. The scenery was interesting. There was an ice cave that I never heard of. It had stalagmites and stalactites. It then made its way to the volcano region. I did one loop and through the volcano, before heading back to the start/finish. I was doing the math in my head. Trying to figure if I would be at the Start/Finish in about an hour. Turns out that it was very close. Within a half mile or so. Once I completed the lap, I eased up and then went to cool down before ending the ride. Concentration was good. The newly discovered route was fun and kept my attention span going. Balance and form felt good. Ailments. Some knee pains, nothing major. I had to get out of the saddle and alter pedaling styles to mitigate. Gear worked perfect. Other notes, there were no more than 80 people on this map while I was riding.
