Not the most direct path home but it's the way you go if you want to ride mostly dirt. Could have taken a more direct route at 8 by the airpark but why? Nice morning with sunshine (who knew??) after multiple days of gloom and drizzle, some of it courtesy of Hurricane Erin. Legs were a little grumpy at the start -- the climb at 1.8 has some 12% sections to it and it was soooo early. It got less steep after that and by the time a coupla short steep ones appeared after 10, legs were fully functional. And no, that was not rider-getting-lost at 8.3 -- somebody carved a new trail intersection and nosey old man could not contain his curiosity. (It goes to the back gate of somebody's house... ). Trail at 9.4 to 10.4 badly overgrown with brambles hanging into the trail and requiring blood donation to pass.
