Not a day that went exactly to plan but so glad the way it turned out..another wee lesson in life. Rough plan to meet up with Maxime and Oihana again as they are heading eastward and me west so ended up shortening the day so our planned rendezvous tomorrow evening was more evenly split distance wise...so..had time up my sleeve and decided to take a few backroads. Couple of decent hills to start with then again a big downhill and like yesterday followed another river ..the Vrbas..into the town of Jajce for the night.
Beautiful clear forest lined rocky river reminiscent of several back home..and then..literally in the middle of Bosnia..an Aussie flag flying outside a house.
Had to stop and met Dzevad..a born and bred Bosnian that now lives most of the year in Perth coming home regularly.
He'd only just hoisted the flag for the first time 5 mins before I came past..he couldn't believe it.
So coffee was offered and a great chat..lovely guy.
So yet again fate provides some memorable moments..a great day !!
