Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather got a bit colder than the previous ride. I had to wear my arms and knees, with a thermal base layer. The legs felt better than average to start. I was good to go by the time I reached the end of OTR. Getting there in good average time. I paced myself up Banducci, no red-lining it. At the summit, I took a few moments rest. I decided to put my skull cap on, as it was getting cold, (especially my ears). I let traffic go by, then headed downhill. I was mostly concentrating on keeping my line around the blind corners. And doing my tuck. I was going into a near perfect headwind on the way to SS. Doing about 14-16 MPH most of the way. I made my way around the backside and then headed downhill. I think I reached the tunnel in about 1:04 hours. I made my way through SS and then out the exit. I had a nice tailwind, but I wasn't flooring it. Just keeping the tempo nice and steady. After having a bad stomach day a few days ago, I was a bit cautious at how deep I wanted to go. Pretty much, no red-lining it. Nevertheless, the body was responding well. I made my way through the farmlands. I forgot to check my time at Boss Hogs. But, I guess I lost about 2 minutes since the tunnel. The last climb felt good. I kept the tempo going. Not slowing down too much. No digs over the top. Just kept the power down. I stopped at the summit to swap batteries and then got back on the road. I practiced riding no handed on the false flat. I think I'm improving. The remainder of the ride was mostly traffic mitigation and fun and games. Concentration was good. Few lapses, no gremlins. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, next to none. Gear worked well. I've since gave my bike a proper washing. There were some hints of mystery-creaking while out of the saddle. But not significant. Other notes, I saw just one other cyclist as I was heading down Banducci.
Other notes: The HR strap continues to have problems sending a good signal. Will likely need to purchase a new one soon.
