This was SO brutal immediately after 6.3 miles on the treadmill, it’s comical. Normally I give myself a couple of hours between a run and lifting, especially if it’s legs! But I didn’t want to have to return to the gym later, so did it all back-to-back.

Walked 5 min on the treadmill after the run, changed into dry gym clothes, inhaled a Cliff Bar, then jumped right into this. Hence the super light weights…115 lbs felt like 200. But I wanted to get my lower body compound lifts done for the week AND take tomorrow as a full rest day.

Squats
5 x 6 reps @ 115 lbs
(1.5 min rests)

Conventional Deadlifts
6 x 6 reps @ 115 lbs
(1.5 min rests)

Incline hack squat
4 x 8 @ 170
(1.5 min rests)

Core supersets x 3
1. Mountain climbers with twist (slow) x 10 each side
2. Weighted dead bugs (legs extended) x 10 each side @ 15 lbs
(1 min rests)

Photos: new song I heard today at the gym, lights in Downtown last night, window at the salon where I got my hair cut yesterday.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)
