I wasn't able to finish this ride because I lost WiFi connection and it stayed off so the ride paused for like 10 minutes then froze so I immediately saved the ride so it wouldn't go into the dark web of lost rides, LOL! It was a 17.5 miles, I was going to do another ride to get te 20 miles I wanted to do. I kept the effort down a tad and felt good at it until the ride ended, I kept pedaling until the ride terminated. I would have finished the ride by the time it terminated. I got the VPN back up and WiFi working but I could not pair the trainer to MyWhoosh, I spent over 20 minutes and finally gave up and called it quits. Pre-ride today I installed the a new Sram Red 52/36 chainring and re-adjust the front derailleur and The hidden bolt was stripped out from the other chainring I attempted to use that was not the correct one for this bike as it was listed as a direct fit and the hidden bolt got cross threaded when I installed it. I returned it and got this one. I'm going to need to get another hidden bolt and tap to re-thread hole. It's always something, certainly keeps life interesting! Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
