After 4 days of rain the sun came out with temperatures between 48 and 56 all day with light winds coming from different directions inland and from the north at the coast. Today’s objective was to supposed to be to stay between 89 and 122 watts for 6 hours. I’m certain I blew right past all that! I also had a bad reaction to last Mondays inland smog and literally spent the rainy days detoxing from the inhaled air pollution. Our region is notorious for being a settling and collecting basin for both industrial and automotive and truck exhaust pollutants and my respiratory system fights that shit like a hornet 🐝 attack! Anyhow, I thought in light of all that and my almost sedentary training session scheduled power output for today would put me in more cortisol inducing stress than upgrades kind of stress so I woke the Dragon 🐉 🔥 and chased, caught dropped almost everyone that wasn’t using full electric drives. People forget that we humans are bio-electric never mind that my name is Erskien so that makes me automatically “E”-Assist. 😉🦶🏽🦵🏾🫁🫀💪🏾🚴🏾👍🏾 Anyhow also, so once I gave Dragon 🐉 the go ahead to do what Dragons 🐉 do, it was instant “Flow State” and like the beautiful pedal dance ever 💗☀️👁️🚴🏾💪🏾🦶🏽🦵🏾🫁🫀😍🏝️ Hung out at Balboa for a bit and fed a bunch of pigeons. They loved 💕me til I told he I had no more French bread 🥖 to share with them. The ride back was the strongest I’ve had in a year! Let’s see what Garmin’s Virtual Coaching system has to say about my deviating from its plans yet establishing several new PR’s!
