Sunday 21st Sep 2014.
I take the lead. Followers are: Dave Taylor, John Hare, John MacMillan, Iain MacDonald, Dave Peck, Chris Kinsey and Colin Acreman.
Riding at a leisurely pace with a following wind, we head through West Drayton, Sipson and Harmondsworth to Datchet Sailing Club for elevenses. An excited lady informs us that there is a major sailing event on today, but I'm relieved to find that it's not all taking place at this venue.
After refreshments, we all turn right at the main road, except for Dave Taylor, who turns left (domestic commitments). He was riding a newly restored Dawes Kingpin. A very nice job he's made of it as well.
So for the rest of us it's onward through Datchet, Windsor, Eton Wick, Monkey Island, Fifield, then along Drift Rd to our lunch stop at Bird Hills golf club. The last time I was there I encountered a terrific thunderstorm, heavy rain and flooding on the way home. Today the weather was much kinder.
Anyway, after lunch we headed north through Holyport to Bray, then along the Jubilee River, Upton, Trenches and Iver to our dispersal point at Cowley. Lovely day.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
