Head to Head Day 9 pt1

Woke up early... at least I thought it was early, but I didn't beat the morning traffic in Charleston. It was painful. Plus it was foggy, so after about 2 miles of riding I decided to pull over and wait for the fog to lift. Took about an hour and a half. Finally got back on the crazy road with rumbling strips and a narrow shoulder and headed to Beaufort. Once traffic thinned out I was able to finally get into a grove. Then a new paved road with wider shoulders woohoo! I decided to press on to Hilton Head because the weather was going to be rotten tomorrow and I didn't want to end on a bad note. This is part one of a part two day.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
