I was attempting to get a nice ride in before heading out to referee at a karate tournament. It was too cold in the bike training room out back. The computer would not connect to WiFi, thus could not connect to MyWhoosh. This was my 4th attempt in the past 10 days, with each I did 2- 3 miles not recorded. I spent almost another 20 min trying to connect to Garmin Edge 1030. Even with a space heater blowing on the trainer I was getting too cold error, I didn't give up finally Garmin paired with the trainer but the breaker blew! I lower the heater settings, reset the breaker and turned on everything, still no stable WiFi, so back to the Garmin after several more attempts I was paired, with only a few minutes left I did 3 miles, wow! I spent all of 2025 working on getting to the source or cause because nothing up to now was really working. I was basically doing patch work which seemed to work temporarily and I would again get ill and it would get worse. After seeing many specialist, they would all say they could not find anything in their specialty. Even when I asked about an on going problem that I had, intestinal blockages which all stemmed from when I was hit by a car and in the hospital for nearly 12 weeks. I would have a full blockage every 4 to 6 months, so I would manage them so I thought. The only thing I thought the blockages cause was severe abdominal pain and worse case scenario a intestinal rupture. I got good at relieving the blockages, only 1 time was I hospitalized for 5 days. I had a colostomy for over a year and half, when it was reversed I noticed my right front side of the abs was puffy and left side flat. I always thought they did Liposuction on the left to put the bag in. Well in all the years the lump never went away or got smaller nor larger. Since, I hadn't had a colonoscopy since before the accident my primary care doctor said it was time since my goal was to rule out causes of my issues. After, this procedure I noticed for the first time since the accident my abs were flat, no bulge! I was so happy at least for a short time, It gradually came back but not quiet as big, I had started to eat a little less per meal. When I did eat more the lump would grow and shrink when i ate less. I also noticed this was related to the blockages and the sick feelings I would get, the longer lump lasted the worse I would feel. This was not an over night process, it took weeks. this was a major break through. I thought this solved my health issues, not so quick, every year I would get sick at it would last a while. I was told it was seasonal allergies, which seemed to fit, so on allergy meds. which seemed to work for the most part but this not so good. That was why I hadn't been riding, I would start to feel better, then ill again. Last year my outdoor temperature monitor died, so bought a new one that was much more sophisticated, with 4 zones and wider range monitoring for just a little more cost than what I had for years. This weak looking at the monitor i noticed my room humidity was stable at 20%, this is the lowest setting it goes to. The humidity in all the other areas was 50% and higher. Not really thinking, I just thought it was because my room was warm ant outside was freezing with snow and ice! But my brain was bothered and later that night i woke up from what seemed like a great sleep, could go bad to sleep the humidity thing was on my mind. Turned on the computer and asked AI, What does it mean when you room humidity is only 20%. What came back was alarming but it settled a huge piece of my health issues! Everything I was going thru, the sinus and upper respiratory infections, eyes aches, headaches, breathing issue all related to super dry air! What is funny about 4 years ago I bought a humidifier and never took it out of the box, two years ago I saw it took it out and ran it for about 2 weeks and it stopped working and could not fix it so I trashed it. I have been heating up water contentiously to raise the humidity in the room until the new humidifier comes in. I have been able to get it up to 40% but for the most part it is hoovering in the 30%. I feel a little better in the room. Looking for this to be a great! Be safe out there, enjoy the ride...
