Desert Series 600k day 1 - Desert Series 400k

The first 400k of the 600k is the same as Desert Series 400k.
Hot day in the 90's again, but the climbing was all done by about 1230, so the heat was not a challenge.
Pre-Ride Report:
1. Since same route as the 400k, the same items exist from that report with the exception that I now have data that says the Palo Verde road construction will have the N-bound lane closed until 3/28 ( not 3/8 as I had thought). I believe I misunderstand what the guy was saying. This new info was from an e-sign.
3. mile 127.6 The months long construction over the CAP that has been ongoing on Lake Pleasant Pkwy. There is enough room to ride safely.
2. Even with the hotter than usual temps, I was easily able to make it from mile 158.1 ( Shell station on Sun Valley Parkway) over to Estrella and the Taco Bell mile 201, without having a water issue.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
