Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather has warmed up just a bit. In the mid 70's when I got out. Sunny skies. Winds from the South East, but turbulent. I wore arms and a thick base layer. The legs felt good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I was doing out of the saddle efforts most o the way up. The Alpine Forest climb went quick. Much better with less traffic. I made my way around the backside reaching over 42 MPH on the descents. After reaching the summit of Banducci, I pulled over to recover and let traffic by. The metrics show that I made it there in good time. The wind was a bit turbulent, but mostly going to the West. I had a tailwind on the way down, so I was feathering the brakes most of the way. The trek through the farmlands was quick. The wind did a 180 as I was nearing the base. The air turned slightly cooler. I made my way around the backside of SS and then the downhill into town. I put in a good sprint on the downhill. I reached over 41 MPH on the descent. I stopped at the local park to bio and then got back on the road. I passed the tunnel in about 1:16 hours. From there, I headed to the mini mart. I stopped to mix a powder drink. Then I headed back. The trek through the farmlands was mostly aided by a tail or tail-cross wind. I passed Boss Hogs in about 1:40 hours. So I gave up about 4 minutes on the return, not too bad. The last climb was going into a slight headwind. I pushed over the top. After cresting the summit, I pulled over to feed. I had a Clif Bar with water. I swapped out the GoPro battery and then got back on the road. I made my way to Route 202. Route 202 had a lot of traffic mitigation. I let as much traffic by as I could, safely. I was much happier when I made it back to OTR. Descending off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. The morale felt good. Patience was in check. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Just the usual hand soreness. My triceps were burning on some of the downhill segments. I think my hips were hinting on soreness, but never escalated. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana, and some grapes before departing. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclists today. I saw one familiar walker.
