Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted strong winds today. They were right, but it was going the way I like. Winds from the North West. Sunny skies, in the low 60's. I wore arms, thick base layer, and a sheet of newspaper in the jersey. My ears were a bit cold in the Alpine Forest, otherwise, I was comfortable. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I let them by, the best I could. I had matches to burn going over the top. The Arosa climb went quick. I had stuff to think about and the landmarks went by quickly. I was near max going over the top. I made my way around the backside and had fun on the descents. I made my way to the summit of Banducci. I reached the summit in good average time. I took a few moments when I got there. I let traffic by and then headed down the mountain. The headwind was strong, but it was safe. No cars from behind. I feathered the brakes to keep things under control. After reaching the base, I made my way through the farmlands. There was a headwind on this segment. I kept the tempo steady, no heroics. I made my way around the backside of SS. My left outer knee was complaining a bit going over the top. I made adjustments in my pedaling technique to mitigate the soreness. I favored the right leg for a bit and that helped. I put in a good sprint on the downhill. I held back just a bit to keep the left knee in check. It did not escalate. I stopped at the local park for a quick bio. Then I made my way into town. I reached the bridge in about 1:23 hours. I stopped at the local mini mart to mix a sport drink. I got back on the road and started my trip back through the farmlands. I had a tailwind most of the way on the easterly roads. A slight tail-cross going through the northerly roads. I passed boss hogs in about 1:47 hours. So, I gave up just 4 minutes. The last climb went quick. I had a nice tailwind. I kept my momentum going over the top. I pulled over to feed. Then I got back on the road. I made my way to Route 202. I swapped out the GoPro battery at the intersection. I had a tailwind while making my way to OTR. I let traffic by the best I could. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and then to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. I had lots to think about. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. Just the momentary soreness on the left outer knee. And, some soreness in the hands as usual. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana and some grapes for breakfast. I fed a Clif Bar and some water. I drank close to two bottles of sport drink on the ride. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, no cyclsits today. I saw one runner in SS.
